Welcome to Fairview Golf Course

Fairview Golf Estate is home to a nine-hole golf course and club house situated in picturesque Gordons Bay, a harbour town that nestles under the picturesque Hottentots-Holland mountain range. The golf course caters for members, including homeowners from the Estate, as well as visitors and the general public.

The Course

Hole 1

A straight par 4 with a relatively flat green protected by a bunker on either side and a water hazard behind.

Par 4 - 287 meters

Hole 10

The tee is moved to make this par 4 a par 5 with a relatively flat green protected by a bunker on either side and a water hazard behind.

Par 5 - 287+ meters

Hole 2

A short par 3. A straight tee shot is required as there are trees on the right of the tee box and a bunker protects the right of the green.

Hole 3

A long straight hole with a gully on the left of the course and water to the far right.

Par 4 - 332 meters

Hole 4

A long par 5 with a river approx 150 meters in. Will you try hit it over or play short and lay up? The green is protected by a bunker on the right.

Hole 5

A straight par 4 with houses on both sides of the hole. Get a decent distance on your drive and it might just roll down the embankment to gain a good 30 meters to the green.

Hole 6

A slight dogleg to the left from the tee box. A decent tee shot will put you within 100 meters from the green which is protected by fynbos on the left and behind and a bunker on the right.

Hole 7

The longest hole on the course. You need a good 200 meter tee shot to ensure you have a good line of sight to the green. The green is relatively open with a bunker on the right.

Par 5 - 422 meters

Hole 8

A relatively short par 3 with a surprise. Don't let the big drop or the reeds and river intimidate you. A clean tee shot and you are on the green. Careful of over hitting the green though!

Hole 9

A straight par 4 with a nice wide fairway. The green is protected by a bunker on the right.
